- Although the moon appears to be full, the Zebra brothers never use their Ghost Lanterns.
- The episode plays on the debate of what the correct plural for "octopus" is; ApeTrully uses "octopuses" and Woo The Wise tries to correct him by saying "octopi". The Zebra Brothers, on the other hand, use a completely wrong plural, calling octopuses "octopuseus".
- This is the first time Jumpy Ghostface is seen using his swirly eyes and entrapping others within his fantasies.
- David Earl, who storyboarded the episode, has the episode's storyboard available online for viewing. It features scenes that aren't present in the actual episode; the reasons for their absence are unknown, though they may have been cut for time.
- There's a brief shot focused on Lin Chung squinting before focusing on the rest of First Squad, which was not used in the final version of the episode and was instead replaced by a scene dissolve.
- Initially, First Squad would have traveled through a series of tubes like they usually do in most episodes, with dialogue between Woo The Wise and ApeTrully; the former would have told how Big Green could be any color and the latter would have argued that no one wanted a grey fort. This scene was completely removed from the episode.
- Part of the scene where Jumpy first uses his fantasy power is cut from the episode.
- The Sailor Brothers would have originally been waiting inside Sammo's mouth to greet First Squad and had the latter enter before departing. In the final version, they're seen waiting on the platform instead and First Squad is not shown going inside Sammo.
